WORKSHOP: DESCRIPTION<\/strong>
\nOpen to all levels, this lab offers an exploration of kinesiology through Tolgolese culture. Different colors and shades of fantasy will take you from the coasts of traditional West Africa to a more modern world. The participants will enjoy the sweet rhythms of the different beautiful traditional dances of Togo and Africa in general, to which will be added more contemporary indications of popular urban dances. Through its pedagogical approach, Amewouga Gadance will give you the techniques and basics that will allow you to develop your groovy Togo listening and African rhythms in order to execute your movements accurately while maintaining the energy of African dancing! An excellent dancer and educator, Amewouga Gadance will help you find your own movement, with the humidity and power that characterizes the human body. He was born in Kpalime, Togo, where he grew up and began to practice traditional dances in local groups.<\/p>\n

After settling in Lome, the capital, he attended the UNESCO CLUB for university dance and art education. He studied dance at the Brin de Chocolat (Afro-contemporary dance center) and collaborated with groups such as RIJDAM and KEKELI. He is the founder of the MIDJOTOGO organization, which brings together dancers, percussionists, travelers and social actors with the aim of promoting different art forms through concerts and performances. Alongside these collaborations, he had the opportunity to work as a dance and music teacher in different socio-cultural structures at national and international level (Ghana, Benin, Ivory Cost, Niger).<\/p>\n

Amewouga Gadance moved to Paris in 2012, while maintaining the same goals as in Togo and sharing African dance and rhythm. He collaborates with choreographers and dance schools on social and artistic projects through Gadancemusik.<\/p>\n

* Gadancemusik<\/strong><\/a> began its musical and artistic journey in 2012 in France, but the story began much earlier in Togo, West Africa. The members of the company grew up together with dance, fairy tales, listening to different musical genres, which influenced their musical careers and eventually brought them all together. With GADANCEMUSIK they found their “voice”. They offer workshops around Togo, Africa, percussion, rhythms and play in animations, fairy tales, puppets, concerts – they are proud of the original music they broadcast and share!<\/p>\n
