combines traditional African dance moves of intensity and duration, with contemporary dance moves.<br \/>\nIt is aimed at improving our health,because the heart develops flexibility and endurance, and of course the tunes from African music creates a very lively and pleasant mood.<br \/>\nThe class develops fluidity, a greater amplitude of movement as well as a freer, richer and more authentic movement while we explore different dance expressions.<br \/>\nWe incorporate afrobeat into our style of movement:<br \/>\nWhat is afrobeat?<br \/>\nAfroBeat is a style of dance that came up in the 70\u2019s, coming directly from the popular street dances in Africa; such as Kuduro, Azonto, Soukous, and more.<br \/>\nAll these different genres are typically inspired by local tribal forms of dances that morphed into the creation of homemade party moves.<br \/>\nSo come Join us! On this fun cultural journey through high-energy, rhythmic movements of the body.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t hesitate!!!<br \/>\nWhenever you don&#8217;t feel like going to the gym, get up, come to our class and we&#8217;ll definitely get the energy out of you.<br \/>\nVisit at least one training session and you will understand how strong afro fitness helps with fatigue and nervousness.<br \/>\nWorking out have never felt so great before! For over 6 years, in collaboration with the Anasa Cultural Center of African Art and Cultures, we have been researching on West African dances, learning about dance traditions from all over West Africa and incorporating all that with the everyday life and experiences we face living as part of the African community in Greece.
